The passing of Mamie Jo Castleberry Nimmo of Benton, Kentucky leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Castleberry and Lillie Pearl Tubbs Castleberry; her husband Claude Wayne Nimmo; her former husband Jimmy Bourland; and her siblings, Anna Marie Bell, Billy Ray Castleberry, James Donald Castleberry and Sammie Wilson Castleberry.
She is survived by: her daughter Madonna Edwards (Mike) of Benton; her stepchildren, Tammy Blackwood (Bert) of Florida, Kelvin Nimmo (Betsy) of Florida and Dale Nimmo of Florida; her grandchildren, Josh Edwards (Taylor) of Springfield and Sarah Edwards (Josh) of Olive; her stepgrandchildren, Brian Nimmo and Jennifer Braxl; and her great grandchildren, Silas Edwards, Scarlett Edwards, Katherine Edwards, Elizabeth Edwards and Jackson Edwards. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann (1003 Poplar St, Benton, KY 42025). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church (2900 Wadesboro Rd S, Benton, KY 42025).
