With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Steven Smith of Benton, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Clayton and Lois Louise Smith (Hainley); and his sister Rita Smith. He is survived by: his daughters, Brandi Smith Green (Dustin) of Benton, KY and Bridget Smith of Benton, KY; his siblings, Danny Smith (Kathy) of Benton, KY, Jack Smith (Karen) of Kirksey, KY, Jody M. Smith of Kirksey, KY and Sonja Howard (Roger) of Benton, KY; his grandchildren, Kinleigh, Mason, Carter and Cooper; his close friend Susan Suiter of Murray, KY; and his pet Sarah.
