He was predeceased by: his mother Cynthia Lynn Burleson (Thompson); his grandparents, Juanita, Lloyd Briggs, Janet and Joseph Thompson; and his uncle Kevin Briggs.

He is survived by: his father Paul Lindsay Briggs, Sr. of Hampton, KY; his daughters, Kenzie Briggs and Kennadie Briggs; the parent of his children Lindsey Briggs of Gilbertsville, KY; his sisters, Cameron Jones of Murray, KY, Candace Kreutztrager of Murray, KY and Brandy Scott (Jimmy Lee) of Murray, KY; his brother-in-law Keith Jones of Murray, KY; his nieces and nephews, Ember Lee, Matie Walsh, Spencer Briggs, Reggie Jones, Kalen Salyer, Bridget Briggs and Branch Briggs; his aunts, Anita Morgan and Ashley Thompson; and his cousins, Drew, Matthew and Tate.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (713 S 4th St, Murray, KY 42071). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
