It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley June Griffith of Benton, Kentucky, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Fowler and Flora Mae Thweatt Fowler; and her siblings, JC Fowler, Gene Fowler, Joe Fowler, Billy Fowler and Lucille Fowler.

She is survived by : her husband Jesse; her children, Roger Griffith (Vebbie) of Paducah, Donna Thompson (Russell) of Paducah, Jessica Weatherford (Charles) of Benton, Pam Owen (Steve) of Kevil and Todd Griffith of Louisville; her grandchildren, Brandon Griffith, Emily Griffith, Trent Thompson, Brittany Bartley, Amy Furr, Hollie Hansen, Sasha Owen, Taylor Owen, Pierce Owen and Jesse Wayne Griffith; and her great grandchildren, Bailey Thompson, Brady Thompson, Gavin Furr, Cayenne Owen, Cajun Owen, Cash Owen and Cora Owen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
