He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Johnson and Mabel Bess Parrish Johnson; his wife Mary Joyce "Joy" Johnson; his daughter Denise Marie Johnson Combs; his brother Ed Johnson; his sister-in-law Donna Lee; and his nephew Dana.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Johnson (Pam) of Middletown and Joe Johnson (Melanie) of Brassfield; his grandchildren, Danny Combs (Danielle), Joey Johnson, Kyle Johnson and Ashley Johnson; and his nephews, Tom, Pat and Stacy Johnson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
