He is survived by: his wife Dianna Cain; his children, Carmen Richardson (Ben), Jason Cain, Douglas Goins and Deanna Powell (Jesse); his grandchildren, Sarah, Justin, Colin, Nathan, Brooklin, Dylan, Marissa, Hannah and Madison; his sister Sandy Witt (Cooke); his niece Kelly Brown (Chris); and his nephew John Witt (Paula). He is also survived by family members and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Russell Acton Folk Center (212 W Jefferson St, Berea, KY 40403).
