She is survived by: her children, Darren Brockman (Denna) and Kandy McNew; her grandchildren, Erica, Chase, Lane and Elise; her siblings, Jackie Lakes (Charles) and Lonnie Abney (Tina); and her sister-in-law Maxine Abney.
Her commitment to service was reflected in her regular contributions to the local blood bank.
