Betty Lou Lamb Hayes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Lou Lamb Hayes (Berea, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Luther Hayes; her parents, Omer Lamb and Ada Parker Lamb; and her siblings, Lelia, Cecil, Kenneth, Geraldine, Ronald and Barbara.
She is survived by: her daughter Patty Hayes; her sons-in-law, Tex Scenters and Steve Hayes; her daughters, Teresa Gail Scenters, Kathy Cox (Fred) and Kaye Deaton (Steve); and her grandsons, Mark Scenters (Debra), Andrew Hayes (Patty), Greg Cox, Adam (Kelsey Scenters), Luke Hayes (Jennifer) and Matt Cox. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home (616 Chestnut St, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
