It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Kathern Cain (Berea, Kentucky), who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Cain and Rena Croucher Cain; her siblings, Carroll Cain, James Henry Cain and Fannie Elizabeth Gadd; her grandchild Chris Kerns; and her great grandchild Damien Engle.

She is survived by : her children, Lewis Vanwinkle (Barbara), Lonnie Eugene Vanwinkle (Ann), Eva Payne (Rodney Hasty) and Tina (James Ballard). She is also survived by Eighteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
