It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Vanderoef of Berea, Kentucky, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gary has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer and Edythe. He is survived by: his wife Clara. He is also survived by his brother, five children, twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. And of course, his fur babies.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Battlefield Golf Course (524 General Cruft Dr, Richmond, KY 40475).
