In the vast expanse of eternity, Gene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gene farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marsha Erwin; his parents, Gene Erwin and Velora Gertrude Jacobs Erwin; and his sister Janice Cummins. He is survived by: his sisters, Deborah Crump (Scotty) and Missy Mandy (Kris).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakes Funeral Home (203 N Dogwood Dr, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
