He is survived by: his wife Marilyn McCracken DeWitt; his daughter Betsy DeWitt McCollum (Stuart); his grandsons, Chris Bowe (Carmen) of Seattle, WA, Baylor Hill of Los Angeles, CA and Jonah Hill; his son-in-law Darryl Hill; and his sister Gail D. Summers of Raleigh-Durham, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lakes Funeral Home (203 N Dogwood Dr, Berea, KY 40403). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
