He is survived by: his wife Rita Davis Hillard of Berea; his sons, James Byron "J. B." Hillard of Lexington, KY and George Matthew "Matt" Hillard of Berea, KY; his grandchildren, Hannah White (Blake) of Eagle River, Emma Hillard (Jordan) of Paris, Matthew Hillard, Logan Hillard of Berea and Hudson Hillard of Lexington, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Frankie White and Drew White of Eagle River, Alaska; his sisters, Tish Hillard of London, KY, Susie Hillard of London, KY and Margaret Zoellers (Charles) of London, KY; his siblings-in-law, Jim Davis (Patty) of Berea, KY, Rick Davis (Linda) of Berea, KY, Joe Schenkenfelder of London, KY and Jan Bennet of Berea, KY; and his caregiver Linda Hays. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
