He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Ambrose Bowman; his former wife Betty Sergeant Bowman; his daughter Jennifer Bowman; and his brother Harold Bowman. He is survived by: his father Thomas O. Bowman; his wife Nancy Carrroll Bowman of Berea, KY; his children, James Marion Bowman, Jr., Nanci Duncan (Bob) of Jeffersontown, KY, Connie Harrison of Georgetown, KY and Mikki Moren (Matt) of Richmond, KY.; his stepson Jimmy Lunsford (Sherry); and his grandson James Marion Bowman, III (Catherine). He is also survived by Six great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews.
