He was predeceased by: his brother Larry Lee Heathman; his sister-in-law Ramona Heathman; his nephew Jason Thomas Speake; and his brother-in-law Harold "Tom" Speake. He is survived by: his husband Willard "J. R." Mullins of Berea; his sisters, Elizebeth Ledford Abrams (Wayne) of Berea and Gail Ledford Speake of Paint Lick; and his nephews, Tyler Abrams of Berea, Zachary Speake (Greinlei) of Paint Lick, Logan Speake of Paint Lick, Devilance Heathman of Tuson and Rip Speake of Paint Lick.
