She is survived by: her husband David Gootee; her children, Melissa Gray (Wayne) and Michael Gootee (Marie); her grandchildren, Dalton Long (Dezarae Miller), Mattie Coffey (Gary Deaton), Hunter Coffey (Abbigail Kirby), Chloe Gootee, Leonard Gootee, Allie Gootee and Cordelia Gootee; her great grandchildren, Paxton Long, Grayson Coffey and Paisley Coffey; and her close friend Susie Rice. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
