He was predeceased by: his parents, Neva VanHoose and Edgar "Tommy" VanHoose; and his brothers, Jerry and Terry VanHoose. He is survived by: his wife Letha Kay; his children, Melissa Fairchild (Kevin) of Berea, Larry VanHoose Jr. (Lisa) of Richmond Hill and Mary Elizabeth Lewis of Berea; his grandchildren, Hannah Fairchild, Nathanael Fairchild, Makenzie VanHoose, Maxwell VanHoose, Chloe Gibson and Liam Lewis; his sisters, Brenda Castle (Ray) of Baker Branch and Linda Slone (Hubert) of Ashland; and his sister-in-law Judy G. VanHoose of Louisa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home (616 Chestnut St, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
