He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sparks and Ella Mae Rector Sparks; his wife Mildred Croley Sparks; and his siblings, Nola Kendrick, Ina Rucker, Edith Conn, Garrett Sparks and Joe Sparks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
