He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Abney and Beulah Tussey Abney; and his siblings, Russel Abney, Charlie Abney, Johnnie Abney, Lola Jane Roe and Betty Brockman.
He is survived by: his significant other Tina Abney; his sister Jackie Lakes (Charles); his brother-in-law Bill Alexander (Frankie); his sons, Jason Abney (Morgan) and Blake Abney (Ariel); and his grandchildren, Colten Abney, Laurel Abney and Noah Sallie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
