He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Dean Sr. and Harriet Gorman Dean Williams; his wife Jean Appleby Dean; his daughter Melinda Barrineau; and his siblings, Jimmy Dean and Cheryl Cregar.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Ward (James), Joy Dean and Cindy Davis (Eric); his sister Beverly Mowery; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Dean and Jerry Cregar. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; as well as numerous relatives, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Berea United Methodist Church (101 Fee St, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Reppert Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
