He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Coomer and Grace Baker Coomer; and his son Jimmy Dewayne Coomer. He is survived by: his wife Zula Mae Smith Coomer; his daughter Paula Michelle Coomer Pleasant of Paintsville; his daughter-in-law Katherine Regina O'Daniel Coomer of Richmond; his grandchildren, Haley Beth Coomer of Richmond, Drake Cambron Coomer of Louisville and Anna Grace Pleasant of Paintsville; and his siblings, Pauline Coomer Hopper of Somerset, Leonard, Herbert, Walter (Tickie), Tommy, Clay, Shirley, Kate, Helen (Dookie), Jerry, Brenda and Elizabeth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Paul's memory to Bethel Baptist Church or Hospice Care Plus.
