It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Alonzo Rowlette (Berea, Kentucky), who passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Rowlette; his parents, Roy Rowlette and Anne Croucher Rowlette; and his siblings, Jesse Rowlette, Bessie Rowlette, Rachel Baker, Hester Ratliff, Edmond Rowlette, Herbert Rowlette, Howard Rowlette, Preston Rowlette, Lawrence Rowlette and Roy Rowlette Jr. Alonzo.

He is survived by: his sons, Robert Rowlette Jr. (Janet) and Mitchell Rowlette (Annette); his grandchildren, Stephen Rowlette, Brittany Rowlette, Meredith Rowlette and Robert A. Rowlette III; and his great grandchildren, Robert A. Rowlette IV and Larimer Rowlette.

Family will follow all state mandates for social distancing and facial coverings for all services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gideon's or Bethel Baptist Church.
