He was predeceased by: his parents, Algan Lake and Zayda Powell Williams; and his siblings, Wendell Lake and Renda Susan Lake Powell. He is survived by: his wife Janice L. Wiles Lake; his son Clay Martin Lake (Melinda Sue); his brother Algan Lake Jr. (Sandra); his grandchildren, Cassidy Lake Curry (Spencer), Allie Caitlyn Thacker (Tyler) and Emma Elizabeth Lake; and his great grandchildren, Ella Reece Thacker and Rowan Martin Lee Thacker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lakes Funeral Home (203 N Dogwood Dr, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
