She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ray and Mercedes Maxine Benson; her son Kevin Copeland; and her stepsons, Ronnie Atkins and Donnie Atkins.
She is survived by: her family Roberta; her husband Donald Atkins; her daughter Dawn Rae May (Ben); her stepchildren, Ken Atkins (Becky) and Shari Hall (Matt); and her brother Robert Benson (Jan).
