She was predeceased by : her husband Harold Day; her parents, Francis Lear and Grace Carpenter Lear; her brother James Earl Lear; and her granddaughter Kendra Day.

She is survived by : her children, Willie Day (Debra) of Berea, KY, Linda Clark (Leon) of Mount Vernon, KY and Kevin Day (Chandra) of Paint Lick; her sister Mary Harris of Berea, KY; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Edwards (James), Mark Day (Whitney), Scott Johnson (Lindsey), Stacy Johnson, Kameron Day, Kayden Day and Kedron Day.
