As Shawn departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shawn. Though Shawn may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert E. Gilbert; and his siblings, Lisa Hall, Lenny Gilbert and Jamie Gilbert. He is survived by: his mother Betty Baumgardner Gilbert of Berea; his siblings, Michelle Salee, Yvette Gilbert, Lance Gilbert, Robert Gilbert Jr., Katrina Gilbert and Heidi Gilbert; and his aunt Kathy Gilbert. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
