He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby G. McClellan and Annie Mae McClellan; his son Joshua McClellan; and his mother-in-law Betty Howard. He is survived by: his wife Leveta McClellan; his daughters, Amanda N. McClellan of Columbus and Kimberly Woods (Chris) of Louisville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Logan, Sierra, Dakota, Jade, Kian and Luna; his sister Janice Kelly (Jim); his father-in-law Darrell Howard; and his sisters-in-law, Nola Hobbs (Jeff) of Beattyville and Angela Smith (Steve) of Columbus, Georgia.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
