He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hammock and Mary Alexander Hammock; and his siblings, Francis Marshall, Zella Burdine and Claude Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Asher Hammock; his siblings, Levant Gabbard Jr., Winnie Mae Mullikan, Betty Russell (Clay) and Mary Ann Wilson (Elwood); his siblings' children, Audrey Russell, Nina Wilson, Sharon Miller, Christopher Akers (Andrea), David Gabbard (Angie), Rodney Stafford (Pam), Alan Asher (Jermie) and Michael Asher (Kayle); and his pets, Marilyn Monroe and Zoe.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lakes Funeral Home and Cremation Services (203 N Dogwood Dr, Berea, KY 40403). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Berea Cemetery (500 Oak Grove Rd, Benton, KY 42025).
