With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Ray Barnett (Berea, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lindsey Barnett and Ella Mae Durham Barnett; his siblings, Luther Barnett and Barbara Croley; and his granddaughter Lindsey Leigh Wallis.
He is survived by: his wife Gretta Faye Watkins Barnett (Watkins); his daughters, Helen Lisa Wallis of Copper Creek and Rhonda Gaye Jarvis; his grandchildren, William Steven Mullins, Adamarie Wallis, Robert Samuel Wallis, Amberly Nicole Raider, Doug Jarvis, Jr. and Brenda Price; his great grandchild Ava Laurel RaiderOne; and his sister Ruth PingletonIn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Valley Baptist Church Building Fund and can be mailed to 4482 Copper Creek Road, Crab Orchard, Kentucky 40419 in loving memory of William Ray Barnett.
