He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben O. Vogel and Nellie O. Vogel. He is survived by: his sons, Ronald (Judy) of Omaha, NE, Martin (Nancy) of San Diego, CA., Carl (Wendy) of Kingsport, TN and Chris of Berea, KY; and his grandchildren, James Vogel (Pretti), Eric Vogel, Marlee Joseph (Aaron) and Benson Vogel. He is also survived by two step grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren, and four step great great grandchildren.
