She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Nolen and Mary Lee Estep Nolen; her husbands, David Johnson and Joe Albert "Curly" Adams; her siblings, Willie, Jr., Jerry Wayne Nolen and Dorothy Jean Benton; and her son-in-law Jerry Wayne Clifford.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Adams of Harrison County, Betty Jo Frederick (Jamie) of Harrison County, Denise Clifford of Harrison County and Susan Kennedy (Bruce, Sr.) of Harrison County; her sisters, Lillian Chism and Novella Means; her grandchildren, Chad Vance, Nicole Getter, Megan Ritchie (Josh) and Ashley Rice; her close friend Sandy Ruth; Emily Vance. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
