He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Eugene Kerns Sr. and Carole Louise Belt Kerns; and his brother Michael J. Kerns. He is survived by: his sister Julia Kerns Brandstetter; his brother-in-law Kurt Brandstetter; his nieces, Megan Brandstetter Whitehouse (Bill) and Katie Brandstetter Dean (Micah); and his nephew Joseph Daniel Brandstetter (Brooklyn). He is also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews as well as many cousins and close friends.
