Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Barton and Kathryn Grills Barton; and his daughter Kathryn Anne Barton. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Brown Barton; his sons, Joseph Barton and Richard Barton, Jr.; and his sisters, Kathy Callahan and Brenda Spicer (Buddy). He is also survived by several grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodhead Funeral Homes, Memorials & Cremation Service - Berry (106 Main Street - Berry, Berry, KY 41003). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
