He was predeceased by : his parents, Chesley Roberts and Mary Elizabeth Josey Roberts; his brothers, Paul and Charles Roberts; and his sister-in-law Margaret Roberts.

He is survived by : his wife Beverly Ferguson Roberts of Madisonville; his son Frank Douglas Roberts (Laurie) of Madisonville; and his siblings, Sandra Roberts Dupree of Mortons Gap, KY, Bennie Roberts (Bennierene) of Mortons Gap and Dennis Roberts (Julie) of Mortons Gap. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
