He was predeceased by: his father Stewart Whitaker. He is survived by: his mother Frances; his sister Sandra Wright; his wife Margaret; his sibling's children, Stewart Cowden, Charles Cowden, Katie Owens and Brooke Dunn; his uncle Larry Whitaker; his aunts, Betty Ann Eldridge and Glenna Caudill; his children, Matt, Samantha (Natalie), Warren and Gail Roark; his grandchildren, Adam and Tami; his children, Ronnie, Linda Maggard and George (Ann Helton); and his grandchildren, Cindi, Sarah, Mike, Carol Parker of Winchester and Austin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
