It is with sadness that the passing of Lavetta Hargis of Blackey, Kentucky is shared. Lavetta, born on October 9, 1951, passed away on October 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Caudill and Charlene Wright Caudill; her husband Rodney Kay Hargis; her son Rodney Clark; her stepgranddaughter Ashley Solakiewicz; and her siblings, Mike Caudill, Gene Caudill, Gary Caudill, Timothy Caudill, Elmer Caudill, Jr., Sheryl Mullins, Geneva Campton and Anita Caudill.

She is survived by: her children, Jimmie Clark (Julie) of Blackey, KY and Holly Michelle Haynes (Luke) of Somerset; her grandchildren, Faith Speaks (Mitchell), Hope Haynes, Natasha Clark, Miranda VanMatre (James), Shawn Clark and Abby Clark; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Nicole Solakiewicz, Alexa Solakiewicz and Christian Futch; and her siblings, Jesse Caudill of Leatherwood, KY and Debbie Morrison (Timothy) of Owensboro, KY. She is also survived by extended family, neighbors and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the White Lily Cemetery.
