He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tommy Jent and Belle Bailey Jent; his wife Verna Caudill Jent; his children, Carlos Jent (Samantha) of Winchester, Benjamin Jent (Robin) of Blackey and Darlene Jent of Blackey; his siblings, Crit Jent of Michigan, Alice Combs of Knott County and Josie Ison of Ohio; his grandchildren, Nikki Caudill (Justin), Nathan Jent, Teri Lofong (Joe), Andrew Jent and Marissa Jent; and his great grandchildren, Conner Lafong, Adrina Lafong, Skyler Jent, Courtlynn Jent and Sailor Jent.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church (14000 Hwy 588, Blackey, KY 41804). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
