It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Okie Earl McDowell of Blaine, Kentucky, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Okie McDowell and Gretta Boggs McDowell; his daughter Tammy Skaggs; his grandchildren, Jeffery Allen McDowell and Letamara McDowell; and his siblings, Burl, Gary, Larry McDowell, Betty Hickman and Myrtle Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffery McDowell (Grace) of Blaine, Randy McDowell of Blaine, Rodney McDowell of Blaine, Lesea Willams (Edward) of Martha, Christopher McDowell of Blaine and Angelea Jones of Isonville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great grandchildren along with a host of extended family members and friends.
