He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Gilliam and Esta Gilliam (Burchwell); and his siblings, Raymond Gilliam, Roger Gilliam, Ronald Gilliam and Reva McOsker.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Gilliam (Mollette); his sister Rowena Price; his children, Brian Gilliam (Cyndie), Jennifer Tuttle (Brian) and Brad Gilliam; his grandchildren, Elijah Tuttle (Alaina), Casie Zierhart (Stephen), Kyla Tuttle, Brianna Gilliam, Matthew Gilliam and Logan Gilliam; his great grandchild Eleanor Tuttle; and his pets, Snow and SiFi.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Yatesville Memorial Gardens (1270 KY-2565, Louisa, KY 41230).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Richard's memory to a veterans' organization of your choice.
