He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Joseph and Matilda Griffith Joseph; his wife Mallie Ann Mitchell Joseph; his former wife Frances Joseph; his great grandchild Ariel Faith Napier; his siblings, Arthur, Richmond, Charlie, Dennis, Becky, Clercie, Kizzie, Pauline and Martha; and his nephews, Willie and Elvis.
He is survived by: his children, Micheal (Pamela Joseph) of Bledsoe, Kentucky and Tilda (Billy Roberts) of Yeaddiss, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Brayden Joseph of Bledsoe, Billy Roberts (Courtney) of London, Kentucky and Miranda Napier (Allen) of Bledsoe, Kentucky; and his great grandchildren, Joshua Farmer, Arabella Napier and Emberly Roberts. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, 17 great-nieces and nephews, and 26 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home Chapel (23185 US-421, Hyden, KY 41749). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
