He is survived by: his children, Kendra Slone (Chenoa) of Pineville, KY, Shane Merrill of Harlan, KY and Scott Merrill of Harlan, KY; his grandchildren, Khloe Slone and Kynlee Slone; and his brother Brad Merrill (Deanna) of Sharps Chapel, TN.
