He was predeceased by: his parents, Elihu Bailey and Martha Simpson Bailey; and his siblings, Jack Bailey and Wilma Bailey. He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Bailey; his children, Gary Scott Bailey II (Ember Hoskins), John Henry Bailey (Abitha), Brenda Bailey (Ronnie Hubbard) and Patricia Lewis (Jason); his grandchildren, Angel Hubbard, Madison Lewis, Landon Bailey, Aiden Bailey, Jasper Lewis, Andrea Hubbard, Ethan Bailey, Quentin Bailey, Easton Bowling, Isla Bailey, Payzleigh Shackelford, Myckenzleigh Shackelford, Reese Bailey and Violet Bailey; and his siblings, Lack Bailey (Ruby), E. J. Bailey (Tenera), Beaver Bailey, Ruby Hearld (Tim), Lola Gaines (Cliff), Eula Brock (Mark), Eldora Brock (Dee) and Angel Holbrook. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Family members.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home (122 N Cumberland Ave, Harlan, KY 40831). A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
