She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Brashear and James Langford Snider; her husband Carl Webb Hardesty; her son Donald Snider Hardesty; her grandchildren, Carla Lynn Hardesty and Robert Carl Hite; her siblings, William Snider, Nick Snider, George Snider, Melwood Snider, Paul Ray Snider, Carl Snider, Kermit Snider, Kathryn Greer and Doris Seay; her son-in-law Christopher "Kippy" Hite; and her stepson Wayne Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte McCowan (Steve) of Lexington, Richard "Rick" Hardesty of Tampa and Kathie Hite of Bardstown; her sister-in-law Nancy Caggiano of Glendale, Arizona; her grandchildren, Rebecca "Becky" Hardesty of Owensboro, Katie McCowan (Marlin McGinnis) of Harrodsburg, Christopher Hite (Amanda) of Hodgenville and Andrew Hite (Shalena) of Bardstown; and her great grandchildren, Zach, Charlie, Emma, Samuel, Kinsley and Henderson Hite.
