She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Offett and Ruth Coulter Yates; and her brother Ronald Vincent Yates. She is survived by: her husband James Ernest "Ernie" Simpson; her daughters, Angela Kay Simpson (Antonio) of Bloomfield and Stephanie Garrett (Johnny) of Bloomfield; and her stepson Jeffery Paul Simpson (Stephanie) of Sarasota Springs, NY. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Houghlin Funeral Home (119 Fairfield Hill Rd, Bloomfield, KY 40008). A prayer will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
