He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Bowman Helton of Bloomfield; his daughters, Stacy Gordon (Bill) of Cox's Creek, Tracy Helton of Bloomfield and Lori-Beth Clan (Chad) of Bloomfield; his brother Joe Helton of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Heather Herndon (Adam), Chase Clan and Madison Clan; his great grandchildren, Ethan Herndon, Logan Herndon and Peyton Herndon; and his pet Samson.
