He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Brown and Gwen Montgomery Brown; his sisters, Claudette Williams, Jean Galloway, Reva Sesler and Neva Thompson; his great-nieces, Tamara Sesler and Amy Thompson; and his great-nephew Everette Hudson.
He is survived by: his sister Connie Rodgers (Walter); and his nieces and nephews, Greg (Julie), Jason (Tracey), Kenny (Rachel), Richard Galloway (Judy), Gwenette Sesler, Suzanne Galloway (Michael) and Phyllis Galloway (Joe). He is also survived by several cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hughes Funeral Home (2975 Old Husbands Rd, Paducah, KY 42003). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Jerry requested donations be sent to Hardmoney Cemetery Fund, % Sharon Ellington, 201 Sharon Lane, Boaz, KY 42027.
