He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd George and Mary Alice Jones Newsom; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Mabry. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Hall Newsom of Boaz, Kentucky; his daughters, Stephanie Bartley (Keith) of Lexington, Bridget Mabry (Tim) of Paducah, Staci Mabry (Jeffrey) of Paducah and Clara Newsom (Adam Woodring) of Arlington, Virginia; his grandchildren, Hannah Montgomery, Hannah Mabry, Lauren Patton, Aaron Mabry, Grant Patton, Grace Mabry, Ava Woodring, Sophia Mabry and Nathanael Mabry; and his brothers, Danny Newsom (Delores) of Robinson Creek, Ronald Newsom of Robinson Creek and Wendell Newsom (Connie) of Berea, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak (3745 Old US Hwy 45 S, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
