He was predeceased by: his wife Lisa Danette Sellars Hampton; his father Melvin Grady Hampton; and his siblings, Mona Hampton Ivy, Paul Grady Hampton and Mel Gordon Hampton.
He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Hampton (Chrystal) of Boaz and Logan Hampton (Morgan Graham) of Paducah; his grandchildren, Charlie Jo Hampton and Henry Hampton; and his mother Ruth Jeannette Maxey Hampton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak (3745 Old US Hwy 45 S, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
