We bid farewell to Rebecca Jane Thompson of Boaz, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 20, 2025 at the age of 74. Rebecca Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Gail Thompson; her daughter Sheila Thompson; her parents, John P. Hutchens and Helen Dunlap; and her siblings, Madona Hutchens and Jerry Paul Hutchens.
She is survived by: her son Clay Thompson (Brandy) of Hickory, KY; her grandchildren, Jayden, Clayton, Nathan Thompson and Lakyn Thompson; and her sisters, Jaice Jones and Karen Hutchens.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lindsey Funeral Home (226 N 4th St, Paducah, KY 42001). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
