She was predeceased by: her parents, Ance Short and Edith Short (Fox); her son Charles Daniel; and her sister Dorothy Marshall. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Adams of Beattyville; her brothers, Paul Short of Booneville, KY, Robert Short (Joyce) of Georgetown, KY and William Short (Shirley) of Georgetown, KY; and her brother-in-law Kenny Marshall of Booneville, KY. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren along with many other loving family members, and friends.
